Acolytes

An Acolyte is a follower of a priest.

The Acolytes are a group of dedicated males who desire to serve their church in a special way by assisting the priest during the Divine Liturgy. In the early Church, the acolytes were adults. Today, however, his duties are performed by children (altar boys). Any Orthodox young man is eligible to join.

If you are interested in learning more or would like to join the Acolytes, please contact the church office.
