Holy Chrismation

Following the Sacrament of Holy Baptism comes the Sacrament of Holy Chrismation. It is administered immediately after Baptism and considered the fulfillment of baptism.

Different parts of the body of the newly illumined person is sealed and dedicated in the Holy Spirit by the Priest saying, "The Seal of the Holy Spirit" every time he makes the sign of the Cross on different parts of the body with the Holy Chrismation.

In Baptism, we share in the death and resurrection of Jesus. In Chrismation, we share in the annointing of Christ by the Holy Spirit.

It's the person's entrance into the new life in the Holy Spirit.
